Our Nebraska licensee, Harish Keshwani, recently filled an order for a rose bouquet that was to go to traditional jazz singer Natalie Cole. The picture is shown here of a dozen beautiful pink roses inscribed with Natalie’s photo, congratulatory phrases, and the title of one of her songs.

Our licensees in Malta, Nicholas and Charlie Calleja, are not just sitting around waiting to make a flower delivery. They’re staying busy and keeping the orders coming in by attending trade shows and pitching their Speaking Roses romance packages to local hotels.

Our licensee in Poland, Michal Leoniuk, writes us to tell us that he is very excited about his Speaking Roses license! He found a company by the name of Esmeralda Farms that deals in roses from Ecuador, and they are only 20 miles away from his location! Last week he took 240 roses to a local fair and in his words, “the people were amazed”!
He is anxiously engaged in getting his product shown to car dealerships, event planners, spa resorts, and hotels.
Speaking Roses licensees all over the world are remembering The King of Pop, Michael Jackson as the anniversary of his death approaches.
On June 25, 2009, the world lost a music legend and in honor of him we have created several commemorative flowers. We are making these flowers available to TV stations all over the world to use on their commemorative spots this Friday.
Each contestant posed for a photo holding their Speaking Rose and their beautiful images went out for all the world to see. What a great way to get exposure for your Speaking Roses business!

Nothing can express the real power of a Speaking Rose more than the personal experiences that our customers share with us. Here’s a story from Australia that will give you a true perspective of the impact Speaking Roses can and do have on those who receive them.
A gentleman who wanted to celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife called our office to order a special bouquet. It was to be 25 long-stem red roses in an arrangement, each with a different message or picture. Because of the special requirements of the arrangement, and the shipping all the way to Australia, the roses were going to cost the man around $600.00. Some may have felt this was too much to spend, but when he was quoted the price he gladly agreed to do the deal. The flowers were prepared, turned out beautifully, and were shipped off.
Sometime later, our office received a phone call from this same customer, only this time he was rather upset. Did the flowers not meet his expectations? Did they not arrive on time? Were they somehow not what he had wanted? No one could imagine the words they were about to hear from this customer’s mouth.
It seems that the flower arrangement was to be given to this man’s wife in addition to a much larger gift – a 7.5 million dollar yacht. The roses had been placed carefully inside the yacht, expressing the 25 years of love that had made this man want to spend such a large amount of money on an anniversary gift.
Unfortunately, the reaction that the wife had over the gift of a yacht was nothing compared to what she had to say about the flowers. As soon as she realized that each rose spoke of a special memory or event in their past 25 years, she was in tears. Each rose and its message had to be inspected individually and commented on, making it impossible for her to give much attention at all to the gift of a 7.5 million dollar yacht!
The husband was upset because he could have saved millions of dollars and simply given his wife the Speaking Roses! Nothing she said about the yacht could even slightly compare to her response to the heartfelt emotion and meaning behind the roses and their special imprints. If only we could have explained to him the impact that these flowers with a message have on people, he would be a lot richer! It’s always good to find out ways that we can improve our service to our customers!
Speaking Roses licensee Sarah Enomoto signed up in November 2009 and has already made the move to open her own Speaking Roses Store, using Mother’s Day as the boost to get her store to a great start.
Her grand opening was a huge success with Chinese take-out style boxes for customers and guests that contained Speaking Rose samples.
